All different types of ticket options are available through the ATX Open website. This includes, single-session tickets, full-series packages, and premium hospitality.
Where to Stay in Austin, Texas for the ATX Open
Austin has a wide variety of hotels available throughout the city, with many of them relatively close to the tournament site.
Downtown Hotels
Downtown has the nicest hotels in the city, catering to tourists and visitors to large events like South by Southwest and the Austin City Limits music festival. The price tag will be higher, but the amenities and proximity to a host of great restaurants make this a popular location.
Arboretum Hotels
More affordable but still convenient hotels are located in the Arboretum area in North Austin. Many but not all of these are business-type, extended-stay hotels, but if you’re going to spend most of your time at the tournament, this might be the place to stay. These options are also conveniently located next to the Domain, Austin’s newest high-end mixed-use center, full of restaurants and shopping.
Airbnb & VRBO
There is also the option of staying at an Airbnb or VRBO property. This can include entire homes in Austin, private apartments, or just renting out a room at someone’s house.

Getting Around Austin, Texas
Austin is very much a car city, so getting a rental might make sense. The tournament has free parking off-site, so you’ll use shuttles to get there. In that regard, it might make more sense to use Uber and Lyft right up to the gate, though that will limit flexibility for otherwise exploring the city.
How to Make Your ATX Open Experience Great
Center Court holds 1700 fans, with boxes and a courtside patio. There’s also a Grandstand and practice courts throughout the grounds. Opening weekend features special exhibitions and a kids day.
When to Arrive at the Tournament
Gates open an hour before match play, and it’s worth getting there early to avoid security lines and to get settled. Shuttles will be in place to get fans to the tournament, so that has to be accounted for as well.
All seating on Center Court is ticketed, so just make sure to be in place by first serve. The Grandstand is first come, first served.
What to Bring with You
You are not allowed to bring in any outside food or drink, that includes coolers or picnic baskets. One unopened bottle of water or one empty, refillable water bottle will be allowed per entrant.
There are a variety of food and drink selections on the grounds, with increased options going into the second year. The Westwood Country Club is nestled into a residential neighborhood, so there aren’t really restaurant options close by. (One exception to this is Flo’s Wine Bar and Allday Pizza, a half mile walk from the facility. This is a relaxing option for a mid-week getaway.)
How to Watch the ATX Open Tournament on TV
The early rounds of the ATX Open aren’t televised on any of the major networks, but you can watch some of the action on the Tennis Channel. You can also subscribe to the Tennis Channel Plus and stream the event live on any of your compatible devices.
There’s also a Grandstand and practice courts throughout the grounds. Opening weekend features special exhibitions and a kid’s day.
