Choosing the Best Yonex Tennis Racquet for You
When choosing a tennis racquet that fits your skill level and playing style, you have to consider what areas you need the most help with.
If you’re an athletic, physically strong adult with big groundstrokes, you probably don’t need help with power. If however, you’re a USTA 3.5 tennis player who plays for fun on weekends and has a compact swing, a racquet with added power is exactly what you need.
Yonex makes some of the best tennis racquets for advanced players on the market, but they also offer different versions of each racquet for other skill levels.
The Ezone is Yonex’s best overall tennis racquet. It works for a wide range of players at any skill level. However, if you know you’ll need more help with control, the Percept is going to be a better racquet. The Vcore is the best Yonex racquet for intermediate to advanced players who want to create more spin to control the point.

i bought by mistake an ezone 100 + ! i am still waiting for it to be delivered. meanwhile now i can only try and understand if i will like it. I had chosen the ezone 100 after many many hours spent on the internet comparing rackets and having arrived at chosing between the wilson 100 ultra and the ezone 100, and I picked the latter as i understand it should have a bit more power. Do you think the difference between the 100 and 100+ are going to be siezable?
Hi Pier, I don’t think you’ll notice a huge difference between the two racquets. The Ezone 100+ is slightly longer which will give you added power and reach, but may have slightly less control and maneuverability. I’d recommend the 100+ for older players who aren’t as agile or beginner/intermediate players who want extra power. The 100 is better for higher level players.
